The Importance of Effective Communication and Strategies to Minimize Behaviors
This module explores a problem-solving approach for use in clients living with Alzheimer’s and Related Dementias who exhibit certain behaviors. A review of effective communication strategies will be presented as well as strategies to manage challenging behaviors frequently seen in the Dementia client.
Satisfies state requirement for: Alzheimer’s disease and dementias, person centered care, assessment and care planning, activities of daily living, dementia-related behaviors and communication.
